Amy Dennis
Amy Dennis studied Drawing and Painting at Edinburgh College of Art and lives and works in Edinburgh. Amy creates assembled images combining landscape and still life aspects, recently using pigment and acrylic binders on surface cast and inscribed plaster (Jesmonite) panels.
She is a Jolomo Foundation Scottish Landscape Painting award winner (2013) and in 2018 was awarded the Royal Scottish Academy William Littlejohn award for excellence and innovation.
This series of work is inspired by a recent visit to Orkney and views of Hoy Sound and Birsay.
