We've just  received Elaine's new print 'Bluebell woods at St.Loy. It is a signed limited edition print in an edition of 250, printed with lightfast pigment ink onto high quality thick paper. Each print has a wide white boarder, so it can be simply framed without needing a mount.  50 x 63 cm  £250.

Mark Hearld and Emily Sutton have just sent us this gorgeous thank-you card following our holiday together in Norfolk. It really was just as lovely as this on the beach. Thank you Mark and Emily.

We've just returned from a wonderful holiday in North Norfolk - land of seals, saltmarsh and samphire. One of the reasons we chose Norfolk was to visit the small but perfect St.Jude's Gallery in Itteringham which has an exhibition of original paintings and prints by Jonny Hannah. He's a freelance illustrator so you've probably seen his work in magazines and on cards. This show includes prints and some wonderfully eclectic one-off pieces painted on cut out boards, featuring seaside, circus and jazz club characters. We're very pleased that we managed to buy this painted wooden panel called (not surprisingly) The Coney island Cookbook. The show is still on so do go and see it.

Emily Sutton's latest screenprint – In Praise of Popular Art is now available.  It has been printed at the Penfold Press, in an edition of 75. The size is 52.5 x 31cm and each print is signed and numbered. £150, unframed.

Our first  Godfrey & Watt 'at home' exhibition has been a delightful experience. A huge thank you to all the friends and Maltby fans who attended last Friday's opening and filled our small gallery. Of the 61 pieces of work in the show,  only a couple remain unsold, so we are very pleased that it has been so well supported. The exhibition continues until Saturday 24th July and we are open every day from 12.00–4.00pm, so it's not too late to see it. We are hoping that John will be able to exhibit with us again in 2011.

If you find yourself anywhere near Itteringam in North Norfolk, you should take the time to visit the wonderful St. Jude's Gallery which is owned by our friends Simon and Angie Lewin.
Their latest exhibition, which opened on 12 June, is of original collages and prints by Mark Hearld, one of our favourite artists and a regular exhibitor at Godfrey & Watt. The collages all sold out on the opening evening, which is generally the way with Mark's work which features the English countryside and its creatures.
