About the artist
Michael Kirkman studied illustration Edinburgh College of Art and communications art and design at the Royal College of Art. He has recently completed a commission for the publishers Faber and Faber to produce the dust wrapper, and end paper for the republication of Philip Larkin's Whitsun Wedding.
